I'm wondering what100 naira could likely buy in the market,
Maybe N100 recharge card which might likely last for about 3 mins call time or there about.
Well its news that a 12 year old was brutally beaten by hos madam for collecting N100 from their neighbor to y him self socks!!!
The Lagos state Police Command has arrested a 39-year-old trader, Chinwe
Abasi, for allegedly brutalising the 12-year-old boy, Chinedu Okorie,
with hot water in the Apapa area of the state.
Okorie, who is in Junior Secondary School 1, worked as a sales
assistant for Abasi, who sold clothing materials in the Oyingbo Market.
Abasi,
a mother of two, from Nnewi, Anambra State, allegedly poured hot water
on the boy because he collected N100 from a neighbour to buy a pair of
socks to wear to school without her knowledge.
According to reports, last Monday when schools resumed, Okorie told
Abasi that he would need to buy a pair of socks for school but she
allegedly ignored him until Thursday when a neighbour, simply identified
as Usman, gave Okorie N100 to buy the pair of socks.
When the
trader learnt that the boy had collected money from Usman to buy the
pair of socks, she became angry and beat up the 12-year-old who ran into
the kitchen during the flogging.
Abasi followed him to the kitchen and allegedly grabbed an electric kettle of boiling water and emptied it on the boy.
The matter was reported at the FESTAC Police Division and the trader was arrested, The Punch reports.
