He was flown abroad after the ugly clash between his sect and the Nigerian army!
According to Vanguard and various other news agencies this report was confirmed.
News has it that several members of the sect were killed and others with various degrees of injuries were being treated at the Ahmadu Bello University teaching hospital.
It was gathered the El-zakzaky sustained injury as a result of four gun shot wounds during the prolonged and bloody encounter with reports from some quarters claiming that one of his eyes was also affected.
It was gathered that he was flown abroad for medical attention.
